Mildura Arts Centre, 2025

The Mildura Arts Centre (MAC) is a prominent arts cultural hub in the Sunraysia region, located on the banks of the Murray River. Operated by the Mildura Rural City Council, it offers a diverse range of facilities including a performing arts theatre, a gallery spread across five exhibition spaces, a cafe, and an historic house. The art gallery and theatre was opened on 22 November 1966, by the then Victorian Premier, Sir Henry Bolte.

Exhibition

In Stories in the Landscape, Eamon Wyss presents a solo exhibition where reality and imagination seamlessly converge. Using cutting-edge drone technology, Wyss captures unmanipulated aerial photographs of Victoria’s Mallee Region salt lakes that resemble abstract paintings. The drone's precision allows for a meticulous focus on natural shapes, colours, and textures—revealing hidden stories within the landscape.
