Surface: matte. Smooth with subtle paper grain texture
No optical brightening agents
Being cotton and containing no optical brighteners, this is the epitome of a museum quality fine art paper. Despite having no OBA's added, this paper has a very high white point and is able to reproduce incredibly deep blacks. Our pick for photographs and images with fine detail.
Fine art paper is textured, soft and has a matte like surface whilst maintaining a perfect reproduction of sharpness and detail. Fine art paper is the classic look and most popular choice.
All fine art paper prints come with a white border. The white border makes them suitable for block mounting or framing. The final print size remains the same as listed, only the image is reduced to accomodate the border. The white border will add an additional few centimetres, but will vary in size.

Framed Prints (Stretched Canvas) - Ready-to-hang
Each canvas frame is custom made using kiln-dried timber stretcher bars, sourced from sustainable regrowth forests.
They are professionally hand stretched to ensure your canvas prints do not sag over time.

Floating Frame (Stretched Canvas) - Ready-to-hang
For floating frames, an additional frame of about 10mm wide, is placed around the stretched canvas. The frame will add 20-30mm to the width and length of the listed size. Stretched Canvas with Floating Frame does not come with glass.
The Floating Frame is 10mm wide x 55mm deep.

Framing (Fine Art Paper) - Ready-to-hang
For prints smaller than 1m on the longest side, we use a classic frame of 20mm (on the face) x 40mm deep. For prints 1m or larger, we use a classic frame of 30mm (on the face) x 40mm deep.

For framing protection we use 3mm Shinkolyte acrylic, which is a great option for frames as its lighter then glass and doesn’t shatter. This is particularly important for shipping your frames to you successfully. One disadvantage however is that acrylics scratches easier than glass, though minor scratches can be buffed out. Shinkolite acrylic is of exceptional quality because of its clarity, flatness and freedom from blemishes. It also has 70% UV protection.
Expected shipping times are a best guess only, delays due to busy periods or shortage of raw materials can happen. If you require your print by a specific date, please let us know and we'll do the best we can.
After ordering, you will not receive any shipping notifications from us until your order is ready for collection or has been shipped.
IMPORTANT: As we print on a delicate fine art paper, we request you minimise the handling of all unframed prints by leaving them in their packaging and taking them directly to the framer upon receipt. Prior to dispatch we quality check all artworks and will not be held responsible for any damage caused as a result of mishandling upon receipt.

Prism Imaging
I work with Prism Imaging for all Fine Art Paper rolled prints. Their work is exceptional, with great attention to detail.
Prism Imaging use an EPSON Surecolour P20070 printer with top of the range SERENDIPITY MEGARIP and expertly profiled by Les Walking ensuring consistency and quality every time. The 9 colour Epson UltraChrome K3 archival pigment ink system has the broadest colour gamut in its class.
They use Epsons Ultrachrome K3 inks that are pigment based (rather than dye). They offer strong deep blacks, rich shadow detail and a broad smooth colour gamut, allowing for prints of tremendous impact. Independent print permanence tests indicate the lifespan of these inks when used on high quality papers as over 100 years before visible fading occurs.
Essentially, your prints are made with the highest quality materials and process and will last for decades. An accurate way to professionally describe your prints to others would be 'pigment print on archival fine art paper'.
